I just went to YouTube and typed in Samuel Beckett, and I found this...
It is Alan Rickman commenting on a Samuel Beckett play he performed in and a couple of his views on Beckett. I thought it was really interesting, not just what is being said, but the thought of Beckett becoming "popular". Wouldn't it be interesting if Beckett slowly became more lowbrow? How could Beckett possible be lowbrow you ask? Well imagine if more and more actors like Alan Rickman were to perform Beckett's works until eventually he become a common name in households, how strange would that be?!
While it is mesmerizingly strange and appealing, it may take a few more years... centries... before Beckett will completely capture the hearts of the world.
