Eww this is disgustingly long, so if you don't read it, I understand.

OK so random thing.... Kelsey wrote a blog about a dream where a T-Rex was chasing her and it reminded me of a dream I had in elementary school...
So WWWWwwwwaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy back when I had a crush on (We'll call him Jake), Ok so I had a crush on Jake,(ugh i know) anyway, we were playing out on the playground at school when a T-Rex came charging across the playground. It grabbed Jake in its mouth and savagely ripped him apart... This was the MOST VIOLENT dream I had ever had, EVER! I woke up as Jake's leg fell to the ground. The next day when I saw him, the crush was gone, permanently!!!! It is so strange the things that are remembered, and what is forgotten.

On a happier note, HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY!!!!!

Ok so today, I jumped the gun and managed to wake up at 4:28am luckily I willed myself back to sleep so I could wake up a 6, instead I compromised by waking up a 6:30, seeing as how I had been awake for that long already, I didn't want it to throw me off! Thankfully I awoke not a moment too soon, for I was trapped in a dream that I am still trying to understand...

I used to work at Llama Llama Books, on main (it is no longer there) and my boss was Leslie. In my dream she called me up and asked me why I hadn't submitted a menu yet? I was just as confused as you are, so I asked her what she meant. She replied that I had agreed to cater the wedding dinner for Vivica Fox. (Idk either last time I saw her was in the movie Boat Trip) So frantically I began running around my living room trying to put together something that I could pass off as a dinner for a bunch of people in just a day. Luckily Alyssa (my bff) shows up and helps me. We came up with a brilliant idea to make the vegetables that would be served to the kids out of paper... so Alyssa cut out paper veggies, as I tried to grill pork chops for the adults, while making scrambled eggs. But the grill was tricky, for some reason the pork chops kept falling down through the grate into the charcoal. While I was trying to fish out the blackened meat, my phone rang, and it was Leslie again. This time she was asking about the wedding cake... in the back of my mind I was freaking out b/c I knew I only had red fondant (the stuff you put on wedding cakes to make them fancy) and I knew that wouldn't work for a wedding cake. I hung up the phone and made a dash for.... and that's when I woke up! YAY!! Talk about a nightmare!

From there my day got better. Well kind of. I was a bit groggy and grumpy having to wake up so early. That and I had to tie my shoes, which I hate tying my shoes... even though I do it everyday, today it was especially vexing. While I was getting ready, Chexy (my 19yr old cat, who is black) followed me around wanting me to pet her, while Bertram (my 10yr old cat, who is a very happily chubby tabby) used all of his sneaky mind tricks to get me to give him Cruchies (crunchies - not even once). He went outside like a brave kitty, then came in and ran to his mat by the sink and waited patiently for a crunchie... he got some. Later when Stanley (the dog) was outside, Bert mewed at me letting me know Stan was at the door... he got a crunchie. And as I was headed out of the door, he looked up at me, made eye contact, mewed in his little kitty voice, then winked his left eye at me (not even kidding) ... he got some more!
Happiness began to set in when I got into the car and turned on the heated seat, I could have stayed there ALL DAY!!! But no, I had homework to do and I was hungry. So I went to the sub with my mom (who I carpooled with, and she works on campus) and we had breakfast. I had a bagel sandwich - white, with sausage, and eggs WELL done (i HATE runny eggs). We had a nice breakfast, then she went to work, and I headed over to the Library, where I sat in the table area downstairsish until 10:30ish. There I did my homework for my 19th Century Brit Lit class, aka reading The Coming Race, I recommend it, I am not one to enjoy books chosen by my professors, but indeed I was quite pleased.
While I worked oh so hard, I texted Alyssa (P.s. in French, text is Texto! Tee Hee)
"HAPPY GROUNDHOG'S DAY!!!"
she replied "Even though phil said we are going to have 6 more weeks of winter, i believe the python that says we are almost done with winter. Phil has lied before, while the python has been telling the truth all 8 years he's been predicting!"
I responded completely confused "What kind of nonsense was that phil is right, we shall have winter, but it will be a warm sunny winter that more resembles summer! The Python should die." I don't like snakes.
She responds "Whatever! Phil is a stupid little rodent! Like YOU!"
I retort "Nuh Uh! You slithering serpent from hell! (devil smiley face that smiles and reveals vampire teeth)"
Then I sit there all alone snickering at our 5th grade banter...
And so ends our meaningful conversation about this Groundhog's Day!

(this is the part where I paused and took a break from retelling my entire day)

Oh yeah, I wore a new white fleece jacket and it got fluffy fuzzies all over my purse and black shirt.
Oh yeah, again, I also bought an erasable highlighter from the bookstore. I'm pretty stoked!!
Once I finished the book, I went to the computers on the main level to google what "viz." meant... apparently it implies "namely", "that is to say", and "as follows", generally after this word there is a list or a description. At the computer my friend Stephanie came up, (who I haven't seen since last summerish). We talked about daily schools stuff, she showed me the tinsel she had tied into her hair (it was sparkily). Then I headed off to class, where I met up with Kelsey (we have class together). We sat down... then we had to split into the goups we had gotten into on friday, and work with the partner we had on friday... ugh... We then proceeded to dissect The Coming Race. Class finally ended so Kelsey and I left Wilson and walked under the walkway thing, where there is a large blob of ice that makes me angry. We parted ways, and I called my mom to see what she was doing for lunch, she was with my brother Keegan, at Cafe Zydeco. So the car was all mine. The suburban was parked in the first parking lot after pay parking so I was uber excited! But as it was 12:20ish, people were out in full force spot sharking... I of course was no exception. I began to back up and had to pull forward a couple times to get the right angle to get out and not hit any ones car... mean while I had a jaws shark... (the car slowly creeps closer, and your mind you hear Dun Dun, Dun Dun, Dun Dun,) ugh. Well I made it out and was on my way. I drove home on autopilot. I rang the doorbell, knowing that no one was home, but in order to make the dog bark... He did, though not as ferociously scared as usual, so I questioned his manliness as I headed to the back door (he wont go pee if you let him out the front door), and let him out after getting a hug.

(slight pause to go get some dinner... nothing sounded good so I am munching on some cheese its!)

Bored and wanting to avoid homework, I weighed the cats... Chexy - 12pounds 2ounces, Bertram - 14pounds. Yeah I didn't have much else to do, and I saw the scale and Chexy was chasing me so I got interested. After, I got my homework out and set it on the table, then went to the living room and watched Bones. It has terrible acting, but it is addictive. I was startled when the doorbell rang (it NEVER rings), so I hopped up and answered the door. It was my neighbor, he needed to borrow a ladder so I grabbed it and gave it to him. Then I went searching for a little red mailbox thing I know I have somewhere in my closet, I didn't find it, but I did find my old cd player and it had my Phantom Of The Opera cd in it,YAY! It has been "lost" for a couple years now. I also found a clip on earring of Simba from the Lion King that I is an original from when the movie came out. I also found my old movie ticket stubs, my fortune cookie fortunes, a purple arrowhead, a bar of cucumber melon soap from bath and body works, my green day bracelet, a mix cd I made a few years ago titled "Miss Austen... Yes?... Good Night." *Sigh*(anyone who has seen Becoming Jane knows what I mean!), and other random, but meaningful things.
That leads us up to now... still no dinner ideas, sitting next to Chexy who is helping me, with more blogs yet to come.

Happy Groundhog's Day!
